My wife Peggy and I came in June 2020 to serve as your transitional pastor from over forty years of ministry – attending seminary in Ft. Worth, serving on a church staff there, then pastoring Oklahoma churches in Garber and Fairland, as well as in Wheatland, Wyoming.  I later served on the staff of the Wyoming Southern Baptist Convention, and then as their Executive Director.  We moved to the Collinsville area in 2018 when I retired.

After serving as your tranisitional pastor when we worked through several months of evaluation and planning through 2021 the church changed my call to Senior Pastor. 

I am grateful to serve alongside the people of this church who such are good people with a heart for the Lord, and for each other. And we have made significant progress in returning after the shut down - growing in people, and new people, attending and worshipping and studying and serving Christ.

This is a vibrant place where God is at work in people's lives and in our community and valley. And we continue looking forward to ministering together, as we glorify Christ in all that we do.

Robert and his wife Sheryl have been with us since December of 2002. Their love for children was evident as they helped start our Elevate Children's Ministry and have been training workers and discipling children ever since. Robert came on staff as our Associate Pastor and Minister to Families in June 2015 as he fulfills his calling to work in the lives of our children, youth, and families.  Robert draws inspiration for his ministry from Proverbs 22:6, “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
